To quickly save the Spectrum's display to a PNG file

• On the File menu, click Save Screenshot.

A screenshot of the Spectrum's display will be saved to a PNG file in your Pictures folder.

To change the location where screenshots are saved:

• On the File menu, click Save Screenshot In.

The filename will be in the format [title]_[sequence].png, where [title] is the title of the currently loaded program (or Untitled) and [sequence] is a sequential number that increases with each screenshot taken.

Tip

• You can also use the shortcut key, F4, to quickly save a screenshot.

• For best results, pause the emulator so that the screen doesn't update before you get a chance to save it.

• The quick save feature is designed for convenience and may not offer the same level of control

• The size of the quick saved screenshots is determined by the settings in the Screenshots section of the Advanced tab of the Options dialog.
