About Spectrum screenshot (.scr) files

Spectrum screenshot files are simply a dump of the Spectrum's video memory. Unfortunately, history has meant that they share the same file extension as Windows screen savers. However, you can recognise a spectrum screenshot by the fact that it is exactly 6,912 bytes in length.
