About quick-loading and saving
Occasionally, you may struggle to get past a certain point in a game. This is where quick-loading and saving can help.
Pressing F3 to quick-save will immediately save a zx-state snapshot to your quick-save folder. It will not overwrite an existing one, but save a new one.
Pressing F2 re-loads the last quick-saved snapshot immediately, without prompting.
Pressing Ctrl+F2 allows you to load a previously quick-saved snapshot from a list. By default, the most recent one is selected but you can choose earlier ones if necessary.
Tip
The snapshots are named (original file)#(sequence number).szx, so it's possible to identify exactly when a snapshot was made.
Do not worry about quick-saving too often. Spectaculator keeps track of the previous twenty quick-saves so if you accidentally save in the wrong place in a game, you can always revert to a previous one.
