To format a TR-DOS disk image

  1. If the Beta 128 disk drives window is hidden, click Disk Drives on the View menu.

  2. Click the disk drive containing the disk you want to format.

  3. Click the Format toolbar button.

  4. Click OK when asked if you really want to format the disk image.

Note

  • As of version 6.1, formatting disk images using the TR-DOS Format command is now supported.

  • Disk images cannot be formatted if the image is currently in use (ie. the drive motor is on and the disk controller is busy).

  • Disk images in the .fdi and .udi formats are supported on a read-only basis so cannot be written to or formatted.
