Supported sample formats

Spectaculator can load Spectrum software from an audio sample of the original cassette containing the software.

The following formats are supported:

• Microsoft RIFF Wave (.WAV) 8-bit mono.

• Creative Labs VOC (.VOC) 8-bit mono.

• Ramsoft Compressed Square Wave (.CSW) - versions 1 and 2.

These files are loaded into Spectaculator in the same way audio cassette files are - via the cassette recorder.
