To enable or disable µSpeech emulation

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

2. Click the checkbox next to Currah µSpeech in the Additional Hardware list.

3. Click OK.

Important

Due to the way in which the original hardware was implemented, many games will fail to run with the µSpeech enabled. As a rule of thumb, you should keep it disabled until you want to play a game that uses it.

Note

• The µSpeech only works on the 16k and 48k Spectrums. It will automatically be disabled when emulating 128 or +2 models.
