To enable or disable writes to the Multiface ROM

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

2. Click the Multiface tab.

3. Click the Enable writes to Multiface ROM checkbox and click OK.

• This option is required to run certain programs such as SoftCrack, that need a modified Multiface with the 8KB of ROM replaced with 8KB of static RAM.

• Clearing the Multiface memory will reset a corrupt Multiface. In normal use, the Multiface will survive a reset of the Spectrum from the Control menu.
