To enable real disk support

  1. Install the rawfloppy device driver available from spectaculator.com.

  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.

  3. Click the MGT/Datel Plus D tab and then click the Real Disk Setup button.

  4. Choose one of Use Physical Drive options for the drive(s) you want to use real disks and click OK.

Tip

  • In the Plus D disk drives window, you can also type A: or B: as the file name to quickly enable real disk mode.

  • If the Plus D disk drives window is hidden, click Disk Drives on the View menu.

Note

  • Real floppy disk support is not designed to read or write copy-protected disks.

  • USB floppy disk drives cannot be used as they are not capable of reading Plus D formatted floppy disks.
