To write Plus D disk image to a floppy disk

  1. If the Plus D disk drives window is hidden, click Disk Drives on the View menu.

  2. Click the drive containing the disk image you want to write.

  3. Click the Write to Real Disk toolbar button.

  4. Insert a write-enabled floppy disk into drive A: and click OK.

Tip

  • It may be preferential to use the Disk Wizard to write the disks, if you have a lot of them to write.

Note

  • Real floppy disk support is not designed to read or write copy-protected disks.

  • USB floppy disk drives cannot be used as they are not capable of reading and writing Plus D formatted floppy disks.

  • If the target disk is not formatted or is not formatted for use with a Plus D, Spectaculator will automatically format it first before writing the disk image to it.
