To change the Spectrum's memory contents

1. If the debugger is not already open, click Debugger on the Tools menu.

2. In the disassembly window, locate the address whose contents you want to change and click the current value(s) with the left mouse button.

3. Enter the new data (in the same format as the Find search string) and press the Enter key.

Tip

• Use the Go To option to navigate to specific memory addresses quickly.

• If you make a mistake entering data, press the Escape key to cancel the change.

Note

• You cannot change data in the Spectrum's ROM, although you can set breakpoints in it.
