To take serial port input from a file

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

2. Click the ZX Interface 1 tab.

3. Choose File for serial port input.

4. Click the Browse button (...) to the right of the input file name.

5. Locate the file you want to use for serial port input and click Open.

6. Click OK.

Tip

• If the input file is on a shared network drive, it can also be the serial port output file of Spectaculator running on another machine. Using this, you can transfer data between Spectaculator instances over the network.
